In short: you buy a personal right to play the game, not the game itself. The store handles the purchase and refunds under its own rules. The game is intended for players aged 16 and over. These terms do not limit your consumer rights under the law of the country where you live.
Who we are and what these terms cover
These terms are an agreement between you and Valmsoft SIA (Latvia, registration number 40203790753, Paula Lejiņa iela 6-108, Rīga, LV-1029) about the use of the game Shadows of the Past on any platform and of this website. By installing or playing the game, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not install or play the game.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the game for your own non-commercial entertainment on the devices allowed by the rules of the store where you bought it. The game is licensed, not sold: all rights not expressly granted here remain with us.
Unless the law expressly allows it despite these terms, you may not:
- sell, rent out, transfer or distribute the game or copies of it;
- extract the game's texts, images, music, sound or video and distribute them separately;
- decompile, disassemble or modify the game, or release modified versions of it;
- use the game or any part of it for commercial purposes without our written consent.
Purchase and refunds
The game is sold through app stores, currently through Google Play. The price, payment, taxes and refunds are governed by the rules of the store where you bought the game; we do not process payments and never see your payment details. This does not affect your statutory rights, including a refund or price reduction if the game does not conform to the contract. There are no in-app purchases and no ads.
Rights to the game
The game — its story, texts, characters, images, music, sounds, video and program code — belongs to Valmsoft SIA or is used by it lawfully, and is protected by copyright. The names and marks of stores and services belong to their owners.
Age
The game is intended for players aged 16 and over: the story contains murder, weapons, alcohol and smoking.
Third-party services
In the Android version, achievements work through Google Play Games, and Google Play handles the purchase. These services operate under Google's terms and privacy policy, and we are not responsible for their availability. How the game handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Updates
We may release updates that fix bugs and improve the game. Some features may require an up-to-date version of the game, the operating system or the store's services.
Warranties
We make the game in good faith, but to the extent the law allows, it is provided "as is", with no promise that it will run without errors on every device. These terms do not limit your consumer rights under the mandatory law of the country where you live, including your right to a game that conforms to the contract.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or lost profits, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the game. These limits do not apply to intent or gross negligence, to harm to life or health, or where the law does not allow them.
This website
The website tells you about the game. Links to stores and other services lead to resources whose content is the responsibility of their owners.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Latvia. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of that country's mandatory law and the right to bring a claim in the courts where you live.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version will appear on this page with a new date. For a purchase made earlier, material changes do not reduce your rights without your consent.

Коротко: вы покупаете личное право играть в игру, а не саму игру. Покупку и возврат денег проводит магазин по своим правилам. Игра предназначена для игроков от 16 лет. Ваши права потребителя по закону страны, где вы живёте, эти условия не ограничивают.
Кто мы и о чём эти условия
Эти условия — соглашение между вами и Valmsoft SIA (Латвия, регистрационный номер 40203790753, Paula Lejiņa iela 6-108, Rīga, LV-1029) об использовании игры «Тени прошлого» на любой платформе и этого сайта. Устанавливая игру или играя в неё, вы принимаете эти условия. Если вы с ними не согласны, не устанавливайте игру и не играйте в неё.
Лицензия
Мы даём вам личное, неисключительное, непередаваемое право пользоваться игрой для собственного некоммерческого развлечения на устройствах, которые допускают правила магазина, где игра куплена. Игра лицензируется, а не продаётся: все права, которые здесь прямо не названы, остаются у нас.
Нельзя, если только закон прямо не разрешает это вопреки условиям:
- продавать, сдавать в аренду, передавать или распространять игру и её копии;
- извлекать из игры и распространять отдельно её тексты, изображения, музыку, звук и видео;
- декомпилировать, дизассемблировать или изменять игру и выпускать изменённые версии;
- использовать игру или её части в коммерческих целях без нашего письменного согласия.
Покупка и возврат денег
Игра продаётся через магазины приложений, сейчас — через Google Play. Цену, оплату, налоги и возврат денег определяют правила магазина, где вы купили игру; мы не проводим платежи и не видим платёжных данных. Это не затрагивает ваших прав по закону, в том числе на возврат денег или снижение цены, если игра не соответствует договору. Покупок внутри игры и рекламы нет.
Права на игру
Игра — сюжет, тексты, персонажи, изображения, музыка, звуки, видео и программный код — принадлежит Valmsoft SIA или используется ею на законном основании и охраняется авторским правом. Названия и знаки магазинов и сервисов принадлежат их владельцам.
Возраст
Игра предназначена для игроков от 16 лет: в истории есть убийства, оружие, алкоголь и курение.
Сервисы третьих лиц
Достижения в версии для Android работают через Google Play Игры, покупку проводит Google Play. Эти сервисы работают по условиям и политике конфиденциальности Google, и мы не отвечаем за их доступность. Как игра обращается с данными, описано в политике конфиденциальности.
Обновления
Мы можем выпускать обновления, которые исправляют ошибки и улучшают игру. Часть возможностей может требовать актуальной версии игры, операционной системы или сервисов магазина.
Гарантии
Мы делаем игру добросовестно, но в той мере, в какой это допускает закон, она предоставляется «как есть», без обещаний, что будет работать без ошибок на любом устройстве. Ваши права потребителя по обязательным нормам страны, где вы живёте, — в том числе на игру, соответствующую договору, — эти условия не ограничивают.
Ответственность
В той мере, в какой это допускает закон, мы не отвечаем за косвенные убытки и упущенную выгоду, а наша общая ответственность перед вами ограничена суммой, которую вы заплатили за игру. Эти ограничения не действуют при умысле и грубой неосторожности, при вреде жизни и здоровью и там, где закон их не допускает.
Этот сайт
Сайт рассказывает об игре. Ссылки на сайты магазинов и других сервисов ведут на ресурсы, за содержание которых отвечают их владельцы.
Применимое право
К этим условиям применяется право Латвийской Республики. Если вы потребитель и живёте в другой стране, за вами остаются защита обязательных норм этой страны и право обратиться в суд по месту жительства.
Изменения условий
Если условия изменятся, новая редакция появится на этой странице с новой датой обновления. Для покупки, сделанной раньше, существенные изменения не ухудшают ваши права без вашего согласия.
